Spring is in the Air

I am honored to be teaching another sculpted design at the SDP Decorative Painters Academy on April 28th at 11 am – 4 pm Central Time. I will be teaching this fun bird on a cart that is toting her babies on her back and carrying a cone of fresh flowers in her beak.

I call this design ” Spring is in the Air” because spring always brings those cute little baby birds and lots of wonderful flowers. I think we are all looking forward to spring this year.

The sculpting of the project is done with QuikWood which is a two part resin. The body of the bird is formed over a Styrofoam egg.

Whether you are a beginner or an old pro you will enjoy the class and come out with a fun project and some new skills. I teach step by step creating the project using many repetitive techniques. The class will be recorded so you can go back and work on your project at your own pace. Also the pattern has a link to a webpage with small step by step videos so you can watch a video, do the step and then go to the next video.

I hope that you will join us for the class. To sign up for the class go to The Decorative Painters Academy.

If you don’t want to gather all the supplies for the class you can go to my website and get the kit for the bird, the cart, QuikWood and any other supplies that you might need. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I hope that you will join us.

Jane
