Welcome back, today I will finish my fall tour of the inside of my house by showing you my family room and kitchen. I will also give you a preview of three more fall DIY projects that I will be posting over the next couple of weeks.
Our chapter had a desert container raffle as a fundraiser. Members painted a container and placed in it a goody. Members then bid on the containers. This is the container that I purchased, I can’t remember what was in it, but I do know that it was painted by my friend Amy Mogish. It is a Lynne Andrews design. The two houses are by Christopher Gurshin. I had the privilege of stopping at his studio one year when we were in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
The trunk on the top of the entertainment center was a design I painted with Carol Payne.
This basket I painted with Maxine Thomas. When you take a class from her, she provides you with so much information. Always an informative, fun learning experience with Maxine.
The little owl tree is a pattern packet from my web site.
I have a wide mantle in my family room and I have it packed with fall things.
The tree is painted on tin and is available from Della and Company.
These two prints are by Lily and Val. I bought them at a wonderful little shop call the greatest Gift. The shop is on 117 North Hanover Street, Carlisle Pa. It is worth stopping in if you are in the area, they have wonderful things. If you are interested in learning Chalk Lettering Valerie McKeehan of Lily and Val has an instructional book which you can find on her web site.
I wanted to have a large owl picture over my fireplace so I created this quick painting. It is one of the DIY’s I will be showing you how to create soon.
The pumpkin letters and heart are also a DIY that I will be showing you soon. You can create them with any wording, I will be showing you another variations.
The tray on the table was a design by Carol Payne that I painted with her many years ago.
This panel is an insert to a tray. I just painted it this fall with Shara Reiner when she came to our chapter. She is a wonderful teacher and all of her designs make you smile.
The tray is a Mary Jane Todd design and the note card is by Lily and Val.
This is another DIY project that I will be showing you soon.
I hope that you have enjoyed my fall tour.
May you and your family be blessed this holiday season.
Love and Blessings,
Jane
